But let's try, because these fears are an unfortunate part of the process. The mention of bankruptcy usually sends chills down peoples spines. It is often looked upon with feelings of sorrow and in the last century it certainly had a stigma. However, it is a completely legal process that allows the debtor to be protected against their creditors for their future earnings and possessions.
